The Committees consists of individuals who oversee and carry out the activities of the PARW Plan. The various Committees will support the development of Alaska’s Oil, Gas and Mining workforce in the following manner
Steering Committee will provide overall coordination.
Goverment Strategy Committee
► manage communications internally and external to the PARW Coalition,
► and address resource and funding issues.
Needs Assessment Committee will
► assess needs of industry and define gaps in development,
► communicate needs and gaps to the Standards Committee, and
► evaluate and measure outcomes.
Education and Training Committee will
Standards and Curriculum Subcommittiee
► define training standards based on industry need,
► develop curriculum to teach standards, and
► deliver curriculum when and where needed.
Career Readiness Committee will
► engage the K-16 system in the PARW effort,
► develop linkages to other development entities, and
► champion development of employability skills, behaviors and attitudes.
Public Relations and Communications
